Spring Double-layered Bread Antique Light Bulb SB-110A

This is an improved design of a two-layer spring-loaded, bread-shaped antique-style light bulb.

1. The size is moderate, with a diameter of 110 mm and a height of 118 mm, making it nearly square in shape. It comes with E27 or E26 lamp holders, which are common, globally standardized, and compatible with any 100-130V or 220-240V spiral lamp holder.

2. Double-Layer Bread Design. This antique-style lamp features a simple design, resembling a double-layered loaf of bread, yet it exudes a grand, beautiful, and elegant feel. Mounted on a lamp base, it appears as if the bread is growing out of the base itself.

The most challenging aspect of the design was the curvature of each layer of bread. Even a slight change in the curvature alters the overall aesthetic of the double-layered bread antique-style lamp. We designed nine versions, each with a different curvature, before ultimately choosing this one. Therefore, a good design, whether simple or complex, requires considerable effort.

Another challenge in designing this double-layered, antique-style bread lamp was the dimensions, including the overall size and the size of each layer. The upper layer of this double-layered, antique-style bread lamp is larger than the lower layer (it looks larger, but it's actually wider), because it's a pendant lamp, and things that grow while hanging are generally larger at the top and smaller at the bottom, so we designed it this way, which conforms to popular aesthetics and the laws of plant growth. However, the bottom layer of bread is slightly taller than the top layer. Overall, it looks harmonious, aesthetically pleasing, and becomes more beautiful the more you look at it.

So why is it called a double-layered, bread-shaped antique light bulb? Because the filament inside is spring-shaped. The total filament length is 600 millimeters, and the spiral diameter is 30 millimeters, which is larger than a regular spiral filament. There are a total of 6 spirals, but because of the reflection in the glass when the light is on, it appears to have about 2 more spirals in the picture. This large spiral filament is a perfect match for this double-layered, bread-shaped antique light bulb!

In terms of power, a 600mm long filament can produce up to 5W, but antique-style lamps are generally used for decoration, requiring soft light, so the power range is generally 2-4W, with a brightness of about 70 lumen/W. Antique-style lamps have very high color rendering index requirements because they are used for decoration, aiming to make the entire environment look noble and elegant. High color rendering index light is more transparent, noble, and classy! The color rendering index of antique-style lamps is generally greater than 90, while the color rendering index of ordinary LED lights is about 80-90.

4. This double-layered, antique-style spring light bulb comes in different glass shell colors, primarily clear, gold-plated, smoke gray, and iridescent. We believe the gold-plated and iridescent colors are the most beautiful and elegant! Of course, we can also make other colors according to customer requirements.
